What Are the Headaches that Accompany Brain Tumors Like?
Many headache sufferers worry about whether or not their ongoing headaches might indicate a brain tumor. Usually, of course, this is not the case. Brain tumors are, thankfully, rare, and migraines are relatively common, affecting about 12% of the US population. Migraines have fairly specific symptoms, although they are not the same in every person, and each migraine attack may not even be the same for each person.
Brain tumor headaches have very non-specific symptoms. If you’d like to know more about what a brain tumor headache feels like, find out more about the symptoms of brain tumor headaches. Most people have no cause for worry, but it’s always best to see a doctor to be sure. A good neurologic examination can help to determine if you need diagnostic imaging studies like an MRI scan.
