OTC Recall - Excedrin, Bufferin, and Other Drugs
Novartis has announced the recall of several over-the-counter medications because of a quality issue. Some of the bottles may contain broken tablets, or a mixture of tablets, caplets, and gelcaps. There is also the possibility that other medications made by this manufacturer could be randomly mixed in.
This affects some sizes of Excedrin and NoDoz with expiration dates of December 20, 2014 or earlier, and also Bufferin and Gas-X with expiration dates of December 20, 2013 or earlier in the US. To find exact lot numbers of recalled products, go to the recall site.
